Botulinum Toxin

Botulinum Toxin is used to relax wrinkle causing muscles. It smoothes out wrinkles and lines caused from muscular movements. This is achieved by injecting a natural purified protein to block the nerve impulses sent to the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles through muscle contraction. It is a quick and effective way to achieve results with minimal invasion. Results are seen approximately 7 days after injecting and can last up to 4 to 6 months area dependent. Repeat treatments are usually needed approximately every 4-6 months. 

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are an effective way to reduce wrinkles, smooth out the skin, plump out and create volume, contouring specific areas of the face. Fillers are used to treat lines and wrinkle seen without movement by filling out troughs or by directly stimulating collagen production to create volume and fill out the spaces. They are based on hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar in the body. Results are seen after the first treatment and can last a number of months depending on the filler used.
